Ultra Marathon (50km / 31.07 miles) at Running GP round Goodwood Race Circuit · 11 February 2024

This year we celebrate our 20th birthday! Through your kindness & generosity we hope to raise £20,000 as part of our birthday fundraiser to continue our support of sick and premature babies, their families and the staff who care for them.

Story

As many of you know back in 2006 my son Henry was born nine weeks early and as a result was very unwell in the early weeks of his life. He was cared for by a wonderful team at Ashford and St Peters Neo Natal ward and ever since they so excellently cared for my son they have been my charity of choice.

This year they celebrate 20 years of the charity so I am going BIG!!

Having raised several thousands over the years I would love once again to support their work by running my first ever ULTRAMARATHON and raising some MONEY!!!

I will be running 50km / 30 miles round Goodwood Motor Circuit. That's 13 laps round the racetrack!!

I hope you can find a few pennies to support me and this amazing charity. You can also follow my training updates here as well!!

Every year more than 700 sick and premature babies receive specialist, often lifesaving care on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey. With the help of legends like you, over the past 20 years, we have enabled thousands of families to realise their hope of taking their baby home, and have sensitively supported bereaved families whose baby sadly passed away on NICU.

This year Little Roo is celebrating its 20th birthday and we have set a birthday fundraising target of £20,000. We need your help to celebrate 20 years of Little Roo Neonatal Fund, and look forward to another 20 years, and more!

I will always fundraise to support sick and premature babies on the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Peter's Hospital. My fundraising will enable the best possible outcomes for sick and premature babies, helping to fund new and innovative equipment, family support initiatives and staff training and wellbeing.
