Welcome to our 2025 London Marathon team!

Story

1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.

During March 2025 Hunter and I have set a challenge to complete 62 miles for Bliss Charity.

Bliss is a charity very close to our hearts as Paisley was born prematurely at 34 weeks. The charity supports premature babies, their families and funds essential research and policy change.

Our friend @matgardn is running the London Marathon for Bliss and we want to support him with the fundraising.

We would appreciate any donation or sponsorship and we will be sure to keep you updated on our progress ♥️

Matt’s story below ♥️

My son Rhys was one of those babies when he was born at 26 weeks, weighing 1lb 10 oz (Bag of sugar is 2lbs)

Rhys spent 5 months in hospital having major surgery to repair the damage caused by necrotising enterocolitis, which resulted in him losing 1/3 of his small bowel.

After 21 blood transfusions, 2 cases of sepsis, a bleed on the brain and two further surgeries to repair his bowel. Rhys came home.

I was a lucky father.

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.

Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
