I am running for Light Project Peterborough who provides support to those who are in desperate need within Peterborough. For 2025, I will be taking part in BOTH the 5km Fun Run and Half Marathon races so please do help encourage me.

Their aim is to be a truly city-focused, city-change charity by providing projects such as Street Chaplaincy, Homeless Health Hub, Emergency Night Shelters, and Peer Advocacy.

LPP's biggest project though is The Garden House which opened in October 2018 and is Peterborough’s homeless hub. It is instrumental in both delivering and enabling others to respond to the needs of the homeless in Peterborough. Over 2024/25, 1,039 different people were supported at The Garden House with 596 people being helped to move away from the streets and into accommodation.

Every month since January 2024, there's been at least 32 new people coming through the doors of the Garden House seeking support.
