Story
So as some of you may know....i suffer with lifelong mental health issues. My name's Matt and I grew up in poverty...because of this I was constantly bullied and harassed in school for years...this was the onset of my mental health. Years down the line I suffered life changing abuse at the age of 14. I never got over it and still haven't. I turned to drink and drugs to deal with the trauma. Tried taking my own life twice and nearly overdosed. The doctors just passed it on as being a typical teenager....little did I know I was suffering with complex PTSD and eupd with depressive episodes. It took years and years to get a diagnosis and this wouldn't of been possible without mental health research. To this day I still take medication to help me manage day to day life but I absolutely refuse to give up. My way of coping is to run....please please donate. You don't realise how much difference your making to everyone that suffers with mental health. Let's stand together.
