Story
I’m raising money for TTPNetwork because this is personal.
My Dad lives with TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) - a rare and serious condition that can change very quickly.
Even when things seem stable, there is always that underlying uncertainty. It’s not something that ever really goes away.
For those who know TTP, you understand that it brings a constant level of pressure - not just for the person living with it, but for their family as well.
I’ve seen first-hand the impact it can have, but also the strength it takes to live with it.
I’m incredibly proud of my Dad and the way he continues to fight through it.
I’m raising money to support TTPNetwork, an organisation that provides vital support, information, and a sense of community to those affected. It also helps raise awareness of a condition that many people have never even heard of, despite how serious it can be.
I also want to recognise the incredible care my Dad has received from the team at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Their expertise and support have made a real difference, and this is one way I can give something back.
This is the second time I’ve raised money for TTPNetwork, and it’s a cause I care deeply about.
If this helps raise awareness, support others going through TTP, or contribute in some small way to better outcomes in the future, then it’s worth it.
