Story

As some of you may (or not!) know, 2022 was quite a rollercoaster of a year for me in terms of health, as I underwent two major operations and discovered the joys of hospital nightgowns (as you can imagine, very flattering attire, but can't really say I miss them...) What helped me get through those months in and out of the hospital was the support of you guys: my friends and family. Love you!! ❤️ But the nurses, doctors, and other hospital staff also played a major role in bringing me back to health (and keeping me emotionally afloat haha) To thank them for getting me back up and running (literally) and to help fellow hospital patients, I've decided to support Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, a charity aiming to provide better patient care, specialist staff, vital research, and high-tech equipment to hospitals. Your support would mean so much to me (+ it's an easy way to earn some good karma points!) To reach my goal of £500, let's make a simple deal: I do all the running, and all you need to do is donate as much as you'd like with a few taps on your screen. Easy, right? (for you... I gotta go get ready to run 21km now - and hopefully still be breathing and/or standing by the end of it!) I genuinely appreciate whatever amount you're able to contribute, and would be eternally happy if we reach our goal (who said money can't buy happiness??) Thanks besties!! Lots of love, Maureen
