In Memory Page for Maureen Holden

Nichola Strahan is raising money for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team
In memory of Maureen Holden
Bolton Mountain Rescue Team is a voluntary search and rescue charity and a member of Mountain Rescue England and Wales that represents 49 teams. Bolton MRT is made up entirely of volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We cover an area of over 800 square kilometres extending from Darwen in the West Pennine Moors to the north to beyond Manchester Airport in the south, and from Wigan to the west to the centre of Manchester in the east.

Story

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Maureen.

Maureen was loved by so many, and her laughter, kindness, warmth, and generosity will never be forgotten.

To honour her life, we are raising funds for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, an incredible volunteer‑led organisation that provides vital search and rescue support across the region. Their work saves lives, and they rely entirely on public donations.

Donating in Maureen’s memory is a meaningful way to celebrate her caring spirit and help support a cause that makes a real difference in our community.

Thank you for your kindness and for joining us in remembering Maureen.

Love from Stephen, Andrea, Leona, Cara and family xx
