I'm Racing for Refugees because I'm so appalled by the horrible rhetoric and attitudes that are being promoted in our country. I know that actually there are so many of us who feel passionately that everyone deserves safety, dignity and hope for the future and that we should greet people with kindness and care.

Hopefully this is a way to make a positive statement that there is no place for hate in our communities.

Refugee Action exists to defend the right to safety that we all share. They’re fighting the hostility that has a devastating, daily impact on refugees. I'm joining them in the fight for people seeking safety to have the support and opportunities to thrive, not just survive.

I'm running the Ladybower Reservoir Trails 22k at the end of September, I'm woefully undertrained and the elevation is going to be a killer. So if anyone fancies chucking a few quid this way to see me get sweaty, muddy and knackered for a great cause then thankyou!
