As bookkeepers, we juggle deadlines, changing software, client expectations and the responsibility of looking after other people’s figures. When you work alone, those pressures can feel even heavier, especially when you’re supporting everyone else while trying to keep your own business running.

I love what I do, but that doesn’t mean every day is easy.
