MAWWFRS take on the national peaks! 2023

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

We are off again, treading the mountains and raising awareness and funds for the the firefighter charity. The team of 14 which includes designated drivers will start they walk on the evening on 23rd September and will finish the walk on the evening of the 24th September. The mountains in order that they will be climbed.

Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)

Scafell Pike, in England (978m)

Snowden, In Wales (1085m)

The team consists of a wide range of staff from across the service including operational , community safety, business safety and divisional support staff.
