We are a group of friends who are trying to help get one of us back from Sudan where he has gone to rescue his wife and young daughter from the war that has broken out.

S is a refugee from Darfur who has volunteered with the rest of us for the past eight years helping to deliver donations to Calais and support local people in London who are experiencing homelessness. He is a committed social activist with a huge heart.

He received British citizenship at the start of the year and has been given visas for his wife and daughter. He is in Sudan now and his escape route through Ethiopia has been closed by the outbreak of war in northern Ethiopia last week. We are trying to help them get to Port Sudan and then out of the country.

We have already raised £3500 from within our small group, but we need to find another £5000 to get everyone home. It is incredibly dangerous to travel in Sudan and the only safe routes are with the army.

We have helped him to get to Sudan, and reunited them all together. Please help us get them all home safe.
