I’m Running in the Manchester Marathon 2025 to raise £500 for CDH. A condition my younger sister was born with . CDH is a very rare birth defect where there is a hole in a diagphragm and doesn’t allow the lungs to develop. It has an incredibly high mortality rate at 40% which means every penny donated will go straight to CDH to help support treatment, research and families affected by it, to get this number down . Luckily after several surgeries my sister lives with a scar across the length of her stomach to show strength and resilience. This cause is personal and every penny means a lot to me and everyone dealing with this defect.
