Story
Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts for Macmillan in memory of my sister-in-law, Dawn. After bravely fighting cancer for seven years, Dawn passed away in August 2024, leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family and friends. Throughout her journey, both Dawn and my brother Duncan relied heavily on the support provided by Macmillan. From navigating the complex NHS system to offering crucial financial advice, Macmillan was there for them every step of the way.
During some of the most stressful and emotional moments, Macmillan's guidance and compassion were invaluable. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering support, and your contribution will help ensure they can continue to be there for others in need.
My fundraising efforts will result in me running a number of races over the next 7 months, finishing with the London Marathon (April 25). I have entered the Brighton Half Marathon (February 25) and Hove 10K (October 24). And plan to find a few more events.
