Max's marathon fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Brighton Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·
Last year my partner’s mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). MND is a rare condition that progressively damages parts of the nervous system. Motor neurones control muscle activity like: gripping, walking, speaking, swallowing, and breathing. There is currently no cure for MND and only one licensed drug that slightly helps to slow down the worsening of the disease and prolong survival.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) are a nationwide charity, who not only support those affected, but fund crucial research in the search for a cure. Therefore, I have decided to run the Brighton marathon 2024 as a way to support this great charity. My wonderful mother is also doing the 10k in the morning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even coming down on the day (7th of April) to show support to us - I am going to bloody need it.
Many thanks you lovely people,
Max 💙🧡💙🧡
