Story
I'm taking on one of the UK's most gruelling endurance challenges: the Three Peaks Challenge. I will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales – all within a few days. It's going to be brutal on my legs, lungs and sleep, but I'm doing it for something which is far tougher that millions face every day: mental health struggles.
Right now, more than 2 million people in the UK are stuck on waiting lists for vital mental health care. Your donation helps fast-track support to those who can’t afford to wait. That’s why I’m dedicating every step, every push-up, and every pound raised to the RookMay Foundation—a mental health charity funding life-saving crisis helplines, essential therapy, and practical programs to equip individuals with tools for lasting wellbeing.
To make things even tougher, I’m bringing a unique challenge to the summit of Snowdon, the final peak:
• For everyone who donates £5+, I'll do 10 push-ups, adding even more pain after the intense hiking. 😅
• For £10+ I will crank out 20 pushups, no matter how exhausted I am 💪.
Your donation doesn’t just provide crucial mental health support – it pushes me to the ends of my mental and physical limits. Every £10 can answer a life-saving call to a crisis helpline — a call that can be the difference between someone choosing to hold on or give up on life.
This challenge will last one day. For many, the challenge of mental health is every day. Please donate what you can and help me push my limits while helping someone else reclaim their life.
