Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 25th October, I’ll be taking on the Lisbon Marathon — 26.2 miles of running, sweating, and probably questioning my life choices somewhere around mile 20.
I’ve decided to use this challenge to raise money for Cancer Research, because unfortunately, cancer is something that touches all of our lives in one way or another. It’s hard to find anyone who hasn’t been impacted — whether it’s family, friends, or colleagues — and the fight against it relies on continued research and breakthroughs.
Every donation, big or small, helps fund vital work to improve treatments and save lives.
A few special mentions to my late grandma, Kay, who passed away in 2022; Simon, a close family friend who sadly passed away earlier this year; and my granny, Anthea, who is currently living with lung cancer.
Training is going well (so far!), and I’ll share updates as race day gets closer. In the meantime, if you can spare the price of a coffee, a pint, or something more extravagant, it would mean a lot — and it will make a real difference.
Here’s to running, fundraising, and hopefully crossing the finish line in one piece!
