Edinburgh Marathon 2025 · 25 May 2025 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity's Edinburgh Marathon Festival team are ready to run towards a better future for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. We can't wait to take on the weekend because a cure can't wait!

Story

Hi everyone,

Six weeks before Mom left us, I signed up to run the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25th. I am taking strength and courage from how she battled a truly awful disease that turned our world upside down. Mom never once let her tumour diagnosis dampen her infectious positivity. I will now be carrying Mom’s mentality with me as I run the Edinburgh Marathon. 💪🏼

I have set up this Justgiving page to raise as much as possible for the Brain Tumour Charity in Maxine McGuinness’ name.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks x

This is for you Mom 🧡
