I'm swimming a whole width without armbands to help my grandma

Max Swims is raising money for Leiomyosarcoma Research UK

Max's swimming challenge!

Leiomyosarcoma Research UK (LMSR UK) is a new charity focused on advancing research into leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer affecting smooth muscles. Our mission is to support research, provide education, and foster a strong community for LMS patients and their families across the UK.

Story

Hello, I'm Max! I’m 4 years old and I’m learning to swim without armbands.

My big challenge is to swim one whole width of the swimming pool all by myself with no armbands!

I’m doing this to raise money for LMSR UK. My grandma has something called leiomyosarcoma (LMS). It’s a very rare cancer and I want to help raise money so people like my grandma can get better help.

I’ll share lots of photos and updates along the way (including my big swim!).

Please sponsor me if you can. Thank you for helping me and my grandma.
