Story
On the 31st March 2024, I will be travelling to Morocco with a group of students from Bilborough College, through the company Travelteer. While we are there, we will be spending two days volunteering in Telouet, a small village community in the Atlas Mountains.
Here we will be helping the local people with whatever the community needs most at the time. On previous trips the volunteers have dug water channels for local agriculture, helped build structures from mud brick, painted classrooms in the local school and even taught English classes!
Once we have left Telouet, we will travel to the Jarjeer Mule and Donkey refuge, which helps to look after hundreds of retired working animals. We will be spending a day there helping to feed, wash and muck out the donkeys!
As part of this wonderful experience, Travelteer ask us to fundraise money for their charity Travelteer impact which empowers under-developed communities and their environments in Sri Lanka and Nepal. All the funds are raised by volunteers like me who participate in the volunteering programmes.

I decided that to raise this money I should use my passion for music, which is how the idea of a fundraiser concert was conceived. All the profits I raise at the concert will be contributed to my personal volunteering expedition in Morocco and to Travelteer impact.
When the concert is over you can check back to this page to see how much we raised!
This page is also here for those of you who are sadly unable to make it to the concert, but would still like to donate to a good cause, so please contribute if you feel you can.
If you are trying to book tickets for the concert instead, this is the link to use:
Don't worry if we look a long way off our target, most of the money we raise will be at the concert!
