Story
Sport has played a huge role in my life. Growing up, I was lucky to have parents who supported me every step of the way—driving me to competitions, cheering me on, and investing both their time and money to help me pursue my passion. I know firsthand the confidence, friendships, and life skills that sports can offer, and now I want to give back.
I'm raising money for Access Sport, a charity who believes that no one should be excluded from the transformational benefits of community sport. Access Sport makes inclusion the norm by tackling the access barriers faced by disadvantaged and disabled children and young people, focusing on the causes of exclusion not just the symptoms.
A special shout-out to my lovely mum, who continues to inspire me every day. She founded a gymnastics club built on the belief that sport should be for everyone—welcoming individuals of all ages and abilities. Her commitment to inclusivity has deeply shaped my values and inspired me to support this cause.
PS: as some of you know may know, I grew up sprinting (200m) so taking on 42km is just a slight change of pace… wish me luck!
