Hi! My name is Maya!

I'm fundraising for the social enterprise Azizi Life this summer in Rwanda, their work focuses on empowering rural communities and improving their quality of life! This includes offering Adult Literacy programs, providing families with water filters, and supporting environmental sustainability in an affordable, localised approach with fuel-efficient stoves.

With so many wonderful programs, you'd be amiss not to support Azizi Life!

I'm helping raise money for Azizi Life by hiking the length of Rwanda in the Peak District as a team of students from the University of Manchester.

What your donation can achieve:

$20 (around £16), you can teach an adult to read and write.

$40 (around £32) can provide a family with a water filter, giving them access to clean water and reducing illness.

$50 (around £40) donation can buy a family a fuel efficient stove, reducing carbon footprints and saving their money.

$100 (around £80), you can finance the cost of a part-time teacher, making a significant difference.
