What is it?

I will be WALKING ACROSS FIRE to fundraise money for Basis Yorkshire

What is it in aid of?

This fire walk is in aid of Basis Yorkshire, a small charity based in Yorkshire.

Basis supports women and non-binary people who work in the sex industry and/or are experiencing sexual exploitation. For example, it helps people who have experienced sex trafficking to leave exploitative situations and access support.

It also helps anyone, whether they are involved in the sex industry or not, who has experienced sexual exploitation. One example of this is supporting people, including young people, who have been victims of image-based abuse (sometimes known as "revenge porn").

Basis also delivers training to schools, organisations, and services to help people better identify those who may be at risk of, or experiencing, sexual exploitation, and ensure they receive the support they need.

Can I donate anonymously?

Yes, of course! You can choose whether to include your name alongside your donation.

How do I donate?

You can donate in cash or by card.

• Cash: I will collect any cash donations after the fire walk.

I will also be donating £50 myself to the cause

I will be collecting card donations through JustGiving, and 100% of your donation will go to Basis Yorkshire, with no fees deducted from your donation.
