Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

As many of you know, Maya lost her daddy when she was just 11 months old to MND. Rob was just 34 years old and the hardest part about his illness was knowing he wouldn’t be around to watch Maya grow up.

Maya on her own accord has decided she wants to raise money for charity in memory of her dad, Rob, and for 2 charities which mean a lot to her. Maya will be doing 2000 burpees over the month of September.

The charities Maya has chosen are The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation which was set up to help young families facing financial challenges following a life changing diagnosis and Marie Curie which supported Rob while he was alive.

Maya is hoping to raise £2000 (£1 for every burpee and her wish is to split the money equally between the 2 charities).

Thank you for your support! It means a lot
