This year, our team at Maylr is proud to be fundraising for SATEDA, a Kent-based charity dedicated to supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse. SATEDA’s work is life-changing. They help women break free from the cycle of abuse, offering specialist support, education, advocacy, and prevention programmes. Their mission goes beyond crisis support — they work tirelessly to build safer, healthier futures and campaign to end violence against women and girls.

To raise funds for this incredible cause, four of our team members will be facing their fears and taking part in a charity skydive!

Over the next month, we’ll be fundraising, sharing our journey, and rallying as much support as we can. Every penny we raise will go directly to SATEDA, helping them provide the resources, services, and advocacy that can save lives. Domestic abuse is a reality for far too many people — but together, we can help make a difference.

Here’s how your donation could help:

£12 provides underwear and pyjamas for a child fleeing domestic abuse.

£25 funds a place for a woman to attend a Freedom Programme session.

£40 covers the cost of a one-to-one support session for a child.

£50 ensures a woman has a support worker to accompany her to court.

£80 funds a weekly drop-in session, giving many women immediate advice and support.
