I have chosen to support icandance as my mayoral charity of the year as they directly support disabled children, young people and their families. Championing hidden and visible disabilities, icandance supports the wellbeing and offers creative expression for disabled young people and their families through dance and performance. icandance believes dance gives disabled young people a voice and celebrates diversity through performances. Focusing on what a disabled child CAN do, they offer individualised programmes as part of a group creative experience. icandance believes in building an inclusive community where everyone belongs and everyone is welcome.

The charity works with a dedicated team of therapists, volunteers, artists and volunteers. Your support will ensure they can continue to champion inclusion and opportunities to succeed, offering hope and ensuring that no young person is left behind.
