On 6 September, the Mayor of Gosport, Councillor Kirsten Bradley, will be stepping over the edge of the iconic Spinnaker Tower and abseiling 100 metres down to raise money for her chosen charities and local good causes.

Funds raised will support the Royal Marine Volunteer Cadet Band, part of the Volunteer Cadet Corps, which provides young people with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, self-discipline and musical talent. You can find out more about volunteering work here:
