Lambeth and Croydon Foodbank exists to ensure no-one in Lambeth and Croydon goes hungry, while working towards a community where no-one needs to access a food bank. Last year we provided over 27,000 people with emergency food parcels.

Story

As Mayor of Lambeth for 2025/26, I am proud to support Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank

Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank works to ensure that no-one in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. They are supported by an incredible team of volunteers (which includes the Mayor), and in 2023 they were awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service, acknowledging the incredible work they do. I am honoured to champion their cause throughout my term.
