At Maze Theory Games, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This year, we're thrilled to continue our support for the incredible work done by SpecialEffect, a charity dedicated to helping gamers with physical disabilities experience the joy of gaming.

Why SpecialEffect? For us, gaming is more than just a pastime; it's a way to connect, compete, and collaborate. SpecialEffect uses technology to level the playing field, ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical ability, can enjoy the immersive worlds and thrilling experiences that gaming offers. Their work transforms lives, making a real difference in the lives of gamers with disabilities, and we are proud to support their mission.

To raise funds for SpecialEffect, our team at Maze Theory is gearing up to run a 10k. In 2022, amidst lockdowns and social distancing, some of our team ran the 10k remotely, showing resilience and unity even when we couldn't be together physically. That year, we managed to raise an impressive £701 and in 2024 a whopping £985 - thanks to the generous support of our community and the dedication of our team.

As we lace up our running shoes again, we're aiming to surpass our previous fundraising efforts and bring even more awareness to the vital work SpecialEffect does.
