Story
MUSLAF is a dynamic community organization dedicated to serving the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of Muslims. MUSLAF has become a vital hub for religious gatherings and fellowship. Currently, the association is working on a project to create a comprehensive space for spiritual growth, education, and community empowerment. To realize this, your support is essential in bringing this vision to fruition.
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers." Quran 34:39
Established as a registered Muslim association with charitable status, the Muslim Association Forum, known as MUSLAF, originated at the IFI Mosque on South Circular Road in Dublin.

In 1999, Nigerian immigrants and others who came to Ireland for education and economic reasons joined together to create MUSLAF. The association was officially registered in 2001 and obtained charity status.
Driven by the goal of worshipping with fellow Muslims and nurturing Islamic families to meet their spiritual, cultural, and social needs, individuals who had received education and set up businesses formed the Association. Since its inception, MUSLAF has effectively served as a platform for networking, socializing, cultural enrichment, and religious fellowship. It has evolved into a vibrant community comprising Muslims from various countries. The community includes professionals who are self-employed or work in different sectors of Irish society.
In 2019, MUSLAF acquired a building in Clondalkin to establish an Islamic Community and Development Centre. This facility is intended to host lectures, religious gatherings, a Mosque/Masjid, and various development activities. After extensive renovations, the community center is now in need of support to complete the project and realize the vision of a thriving and fully functional community space.
"And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." Quran 63:10
MUSLAF is excited to announce an ongoing project aimed at enriching and empowering the community. The association is responding to the growing needs and aspirations of the Irish Islamic community by working towards completing a comprehensive multi-purpose center. This center will serve as a hub for spiritual, educational, and recreational activities.
Hadith Qudsi 11: "On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you. It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim)."
The vision is to create a vibrant community hub that caters to the needs of Muslims from different backgrounds in accordance to the Qur’an and the sunnah of our beloved prophet ﷺ, featuring a Mosque for worship and unity, a Studio for Dawah and Islamic contents creations, an Event Hall for community gatherings, a Gym for physical well-being, a kitchen, and a Library for lifelong learning with a variety of Islamic resources.
While progress has been made in acquiring and renovating the center, with €500,000 already invested by community members, there are ongoing expenses and unforeseen challenges. An additional €350,000 is needed to complete the project. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will make a significant difference in establishing this center and supporting the community.
