As a business based in the heart of the Lake District, we regularly witness the air ambulance heading out to support the local community around us, and we see first-hand just how crucial this service is. That’s why we have chosen to fundraise for GNAAS throughout 2026, with all money raised through our Golf Day and other charity events going directly to support this incredible charity.

Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or critically ill patients every year across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatment at the scene of an incident, whether that’s on a fell top, at the roadside or in a city centre.

In 2024 alone, the charity responded to 2,083 call outs by helicopter and emergency response vehicle, carrying out vital treatments and procedures that can mean the difference between life and death.
