Coastal Trek Fundraiser for the CCG Trust - Investors in Wildlife

Trekking the north Norfolk coast - the hard way
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am the founding trustee of The CCG Trust (Investors in Wildlife), a British charity which supports community conservation in Africa. In July I will traverse the Norfolk coastline to raise money for our work in Tanzania.
Rather than walking the easy coast path, around 30 miles from Old Hunstanton to Weybourne, I plan to go off the beaten track following the tideline which is nearly 50 miles at low tide across the salt marshes and sand dunes, and wading or swimming the biggest creeks.
The money raised will support Lion Landscapes's projects in the communities around Ruaha National Park, a huge reserve the size of East Anglia - underfunded but rich in biodiversity with wildlife such as lions, elephants, wild dogs and sable antelope.
As one of our key partners on the ground Lion Landscapes are committed to developing community-based solutions to enable better coexistence between people and wildlife, particularly large carnivores. They integrate local knowledge and experience with world-class science to deliver effective, evidence-based conservation.
Your donation will help to go towards supporting big cat conservation as well as local jobs in ecotourism, and will help to save our amazing ecosystems. Thank you.
