Story

Running for Macmillan in Memory of His Grandma, Betty Cameron.

Just one week after celebrating his 17th birthday, McKenzie will be taking on the challenge of the East of England Half Marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

McKenzie is running in loving memory of his grandma, whose strength, love and courage continue to inspire him every day. By taking on this 13.1-mile challenge, he hopes to honour her memory while supporting the incredible work that Macmillan does for people affected by cancer and their families.

At just 17 years old, this will be one of McKenzie's biggest challenges yet, but it is a cause that means so much to him. Every mile he runs is dedicated to his grandma and to helping others facing the difficult journey of cancer.

Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help Macmillan continue to provide vital practical, emotional and financial support to those who need it most.

Thank you for supporting McKenzie as he takes on the East of England Half Marathon in memory of someone very special.

"For Grandma, with love. Every mile is for you." 💚
