Kirsty Rooney is raising money for The Mustardseed Arts and Educational Trust
Mustardseed Junior School's mission is to provide an inspirational and practical education to the children in our care, empowering them with the knowledge, will and self-confidence to make their world a better, greener and more peaceful place.

Story

For Founders' Day on Friday 20th June we will be doing a sponsored walk to raise money for Mustardseed Junior School. The Third Form and Lower Fourth pupils will be walking 7.12 miles and the Upper Fourth and Lower Sixth pupils will be walking 11 miles.

Mustardseed Arts and Educational Trust has built Mustardseed Junior School in Sentema, Uganda.

Our mission is to provide an inspirational and practical education to the young children in our care, many of whom are orphans or vulnerable, and to encourage them to flourish and prosper in Uganda and the wider world, inspiring them with the knowledge and self-confidence to make their world a better, greener and more peaceful place.

With the motto 'start small, grow great', we believe local education is key to propelling wider change in Uganda.
