Story
One Team MDL is gearing up for a new fundraising challenge this summer - trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, supporting the fight against prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancers in men in the UK, with over 47,500 diagnosed every year.
Among them is Doug, Lynne's brother who was diagnosed last September and is about to undertake radiotherapy.
That's why Lynne, Aleks, Euan and Gordon are taking on the physical challenge of trekking up the 13,828 feet (4,215 meters) and 26miles of the Inca Trail - and the training in advance of it - to raise funds for research, support and awareness initiatives to fight this deadly disease.
Prostate Cancer UK is the UK's largest men's health charity, working tirelessly to fund research, provide vital support services and raise awareness about prostate cancer.
They aim to stop prostate cancer from being a killer by investing in innovative research projects, campaigning for better treatments and care, and providing practical and emotional support to those affected by the disease.
Every donation, no matter how big or small will make a difference in supporting the charity's work.
