Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Media Fight Night JustGiving page.
Since its inception in 2015, Media Fight Night has raised over £2.2m for various charities and beneficiaries. For our 2026 event on Thursday, 5th November, we're aiming to break through £2.6m.
Participants train for several months, putting themselves through a challenging fitness regime, learning how to box while also mentally preparing themselves for the night. What begins as a boxing challenge becomes something far more powerful: a journey of personal discovery, a platform for fundraising, and an opportunity for the entire media and advertising industry to come together for something bigger.
Highlights
Since launching in 2015, we have raised more than £2.2 million for charity, helping create meaningful and lasting change through our three principal charity partners:
- The Head & Neck Cancer Foundation – helping to fund the rollout of Sentinel Node Biopsy across the UK, supporting earlier diagnosis and less invasive treatment for people with head and neck cancer.
- Carney's Community – funding the creation of a professional recording studio that gives young people a safe, creative environment in which to develop their confidence, skills and potential.
- Off The Ropes – fully funding its first permanent premises, including the first boxing gym based within an NHS hospital, providing vital physical and mental-health support through boxing.
Every fighter, sponsor, guest and donor helps us continue fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.
For our 2026 event, the Media Fight Night team have selected 18 final participants who will be taking part on Thursday, 5th November.
