Story
At Emmanuel House, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Since 1976, our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to support individuals who are homeless, rough sleeping, or at risk of homelessness in Nottingham. We understand the struggles faced by those with No Recourse to Public Funds and strive to meet their basic human needs through our day centre.
Every day, we provide essential services such as showers, food, and clothing, while also offering vital support for housing, benefits, and mental and physical health. Our Outreach Team goes above and beyond to ensure that individuals receive the tenancy and mental health support they need to rebuild their lives.
As the colder months approach, our Winter Shelter opens its doors from October to April, providing short-term emergency accommodation for those in desperate need. This year, one of our supporters is participating in a personal marathon on September 6th, 2025, with a goal of raising £1,000 for Emmanuel House.
We invite you to join us in this important mission. Your generous contributions will help us continue providing essential services and support for those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many individuals facing homelessness.
