On 26th April 2026, I will be attempting to survive the London marathon and also raise money for an amazing charity: cats protection. Having two cats of our own, we cannot imagine life without them. Sadly, many cats are not so fortunate to have a loving home where they are cared for and sadly, for many cats, neglect is a reality.

As one of the UK’s leading feline welfare charities, Cats Protection helps thousands of abandoned, stray, and unwanted cats every year—offering them shelter, medical care, and the chance for a loving home. By choosing to run on their behalf, I am taking on an incredible physical challenge but also raising vital funds and awareness for a cause that saves lives. Every mile I run will help to provide food, shelter, and veterinary treatment for cats in need, giving them a second chance. It’s a chance to be a voice for animals who can’t speak for themselves—and each step will hopefully bring us closer to a world where every cat is treated with kindness and compassion.
