Story

This year, we will be hosting an online awareness event at the end of M.E awareness month (MAY) and are asking people to donate to help fund M.E research.

The number of people living with M.E (M.E/C,F.S) worldwide has tripled in the past three years. The need for biomedical research has grown significantly yet governments are still not increasing spending for M.E BIOMEDICAL research.

While the M.E community waits, we have to fund it ourselves.

We would be appreciative of any donation whether £2 or £20. Every donation counts.

How your money is spent - (info from Cure M.E's website https://cureme.lshtm.ac.uk)

'Your gift could cover freezer storage of one set of blood samples for five years (£5), tubes for one blood draw (£10), a set of laboratory blood tests (£50), or medical equipment for clinical measurements (£2,500).'

Our target of £250 would cover the cost of 5 sets of laboratory blood tests.

Prefer to use Paypal? You can donate via our website mefoggydog.org but please annotate in the comments that it is a Cure ME donation and we will forward it on. Please note that this method incurs Paypal fees.
