Foggy's Globetrotting Adventure for Cure M.E (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine)
Fundraising for London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
Verified by JustGiving
This time, he has a fundraising target of ONE MILLION POUNDS and a mileage target of 250,000 miles!!
As always, Foggy will be travelling around the globe spreading awareness of the misunderstood and neglected disease that is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). His global adventuring is entirely reliant on Foggy-sitters volunteering to take him on holiday/a business trip or offers to visit to their home town for an adventure (wherever they live around the world). Get in touch if you would like to be a 'Foggy-sitter' to help this campaign - email email@example.com.
The number of people living with M.E (M.E/C,F.S) worldwide has tripled in the past three years. The need for biomedical research has grown significantly yet governments are still not adequately increasing spending for M.E BIOMEDICAL research.
While the M.E community waits, we have to fund it ourselves.
We would be appreciative of any donation whether £2 or £2000. Every donation counts.
How your money is spent - (info from Cure M.E's website https://cureme.lshtm.ac.uk)
'Your gift could cover freezer storage of one set of blood samples for five years (£5), tubes for one blood draw (£10), a set of laboratory blood tests (£50), or medical equipment for clinical measurements (£2,500).'
Prefer to use Paypal? You can donate via our website mefoggydog.org but please annotate in the comments that it is a Cure ME donation and we will forward it on. Please note that this method incurs Paypal fees.
