Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing a skydive on Sunday 14th June 2026, and I hope to raise funds for One Wish Dogs Foundation to help with Tally's treatment and on-going care. Tally came into emergency foster care with OWDF, based at Leafield, Oxfordshire, in August 2025. Tally's life before becoming a One Wisher was tragic, she had been relentlessly bred from, starved, and desperately neglected. When Tally was finally rescued by the Dog Warden, from a drugs den, she had been left locked in a crate with no freedom or exercise, she weighed just under 23kgs, was covered in mange, and had lost most of her fur. Tally was in desperate need of urgent veterinary care, and a safe space to recover and most importantly someone to love her. OWDF gave Tally that space, the urgent veterinary care she needed and people who love her. Despite her horrific start, Tally, an American Bulldog, is the most adorable, loving & trusting dog with such an relentless enthusiasm for life. She loves everyone and everyone seems to love her back. Over the last 10 months Tally has made a amazing recovery, now weighing just over 48 kg, Tally's skin condition has improved dramatically, and she has enjoyed every day of her life in her safe spaces with her foster carers. Tally came into my family as a foster dog, last November, we had the joy of sharing our home with Tally for a couple of months, and all immediately fell under her spell. Due to the neglect Tally suffered in her early years, she sadly still has on-going skin and cruciate ligament issues. OWDF are raising funds to give Tally the best treatment, to enable her to have, as far as is possible, a pain free, long and happy life. If you could donate £10 for Tally's Treatment or however much you are able to afford, it would mean the world to me and to Tally.
Thank you so much x
