I'm Running the London Marathon 2026 for Brain Tumour Research
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life — running the London Marathon — in support of Brain Tumour Research, a cause that means the world to me.
This isn’t just about running 26.2 miles. It’s about running with purpose, running with love, and running with hope.
Why This Charity?
Last year, someone very close to me — a dear friend — was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Seeing them go through the uncertainty, the treatment, and the emotional rollercoaster was heart breaking. It reminded me of my own family's journey: my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour 25 years ago. Back then, treatment options were limited and understanding of the disease was even more so.
Despite being the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, brain tumour research receives just 1% of the national spend on cancer research. That’s not enough. We urgently need more funding, more awareness, and more hope.
How You Can Help
By donating, you’re not just supporting my marathon challenge — you're helping fund vital research that could change lives. Every step I take is for the families fighting right now, for those we've lost, and for a future where brain tumours can be better understood, treated, and cured.
Whether it’s £1 or £100, every penny makes a difference.
Brain Tumour Research is is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
