Story
This year alone, an estimated 44,000 people in Ireland will receive a cancer diagnosis. That’s 120 people every single day, and 5 families every hour hearing the words that change everything:
“You have cancer.”
For me, cancer isn’t just a statistic, it’s deeply personal. Watching the people I love navigate treatment, fear, uncertainty, and pain has shown me both the brutal reality of this disease and the incredible strength of those who fight it every day.
Their courage is why I am running the Paris Marathon 2026.
26.2 miles is nothing compared to the miles travelled by patients to appointments, by families pacing hospital corridors, or by those fighting for more time.
With the right research, resources, and support, I believe in a future where no one has to lose a loved one to cancer. The Irish Cancer Society is working to bring that future closer funding life-saving research, providing support services, and helping patients and families across Ireland when they need it most.
Your support, no matter the amount, will directly fund:
💛 Life-changing cancer research
💛 Free care and counselling services
💛 Vital supports for families navigating treatment
Together, we can make a difference, for my family and for so many others.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting this cause and for helping me run in honor of all those fighting, surviving, and remembered. 💙
