I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Brilliant Club, an amazing charity that supports students from less advantaged backgrounds gain access to the most competitive universities.

Did you know that students from the least advantaged backgrounds have a 2 in 100 chance of going to the most competitive universities? But the disadvantage doesn’t disappear when they enter university, they are 20% more likely to miss out on a 2:1 or a 1st!

The Brilliant Club wants to change that and support children from less advantaged backgrounds - and help them reach their potential!
