Let’s make a wig!

Head shave for the Little Princess Trust · 11 July 2024
The Little Princess Trust provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment…. So I’m giving them my hair and asking you guys for some donations to help them turn it into a wig!
Earlier this year, my gorgeous friend Lucie was diagnosed with breast cancer and they made a beautiful wig for her.
I’ve wanted to support the charity for years and planned on donating some hair after getting a bob cut - but while shaving Lucie’s head in prep for her chemo starting, I decided I wanted to grow mine longer and get a shorter cut. To donate as much length as possible, I’ll be shaving my head and joining Lucie with her ‘growing back’ journey.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
