I’ll be running the London Big Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd September to raise money for the Liz Binns Melanoma Charitable Trust.

I had the pleasure of knowing Liz for most of my life. An amazing friend to my family, who will never be forgotten.

My dad, Martin, has also been affected by skin cancer. Having gone into remission in Feb 2020, he recently found out that it had returned. Although a brutal journey, he’s handling it the only way he ever could - with positivity and continuous jokes.

This incredible charity, set up by Liz’s family, aims to help towards preserving the health of those suffering from melanoma and other types of skin cancer. Any money donated will go towards funding for research into diagnosis and treatment.

We’re well on the way to the big day, so any donations at all would be extremely appreciated and will give me the biggest push to complete my first half!
