#WearPurpleForJIA is an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children and young people living with arthritis - juvenile idiopathic arthritis. This year, our #WearPurpleForJIA day is on Friday 22rd May!

Story

We are taking part in #WearPurpleForJIA to raise funds and awareness for the 10,000+ young people in the UK who have arthritis.

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a debilitating condition that affects the joints and organs of young individuals, often severely limiting their mobility and independence. This heartbreaking reality can leave many children

Please donate £1 and join us in Wearing Purple on [Friday 22nd May]. [We will be holding a Purple Bake Sale too so bring along lots of change or donate via this page here and give whatever you can.]

Heartbreakingly there is no cure for JIA - but we can help!

Every £5 raised will provide 3 booklets to help children learn about the disease and give practical advice

Every £10 raised will provide a 30-minute helpline call to give support at a time of crisis

Every £30 raised will enable a one-hour facilitated meeting for a family with a recent diagnosis

Give whatever you can today and #WearPurpleForJIA with us on [Friday 22nd May].
