On the 8th of June 2024 I will be walking Snowden at night in memory of my beautiful mum Denise. I am pushing myself out of my usual comfort zone for this and for anyone who knows me well, they will know just how much I love my sleep and hate the dark so will be quite a challenge for me but nothing worth achieving ever comes easily. It is my way of giving back to Clatterbridge Liverpool who provided my mum Denise with such wonderful treatment and care during her illness. We spent a lot of time at Clatterbridge Liverpool during the 19 months from Mums initial diagnosis and would just like to say a huge thanks to all the staff who work tirelessly under such difficult and emotional circumstances at times.

I will think of you mum when we reach the summit. Of your strength, courage and bravery. Of your wonderful zest for life, for adventure and passion to see the world.

Clatterbridge Cancer Charity will once again climb Snowdon through the night! As the staff of Clatterbridge work through the night, we will walk. We will walk to support the incredible work of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, taking on this wonderful challenge starting in Llanberis from approximately 01:00, finishing with a fantastic sunrise over the Snowdon valley.
