Story
I’m dusting off my saddle and taking on the St Luke’s Tour de Moor!
To say this is going to be a challenge is a massive understatement. "It’s been years since I cycled properly, and my personal best is a flat 10k route back in COVID. Trading that for a grueling 28k across rugged terrain is a massive step up, making this a true challenge for me.
My fitness level is currently more "casual stroll" than "extreme cyclist," but I am determined to power through the blisters and the burning legs for a truly incredible cause.
I’m doing this to raise vital funds for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth. They do extraordinary work providing end-of-life care to local families in our community when they need it most.
Training starts on the 23rd June, I will be sharing my progress via the event page linked below. If we hit the £100 target I'll wear something crazy like a tutu or fox ears during the ride.
Thank you so much for your support (and please wish my legs luck)
