Story
After finding out in January at our 12 week scan that I had suffered a missed miscarriage was devastating to me & my husband, we would've been due early August so I can't think of a better way to honour my first pregnancy than to walk or run 1.4 miles a day in July & raise money for Miscarriage UK a charity that has helped me.
I'm proud to be taking part in Miles that Matter for Miscarriage UK – joining others in walking or running 42 miles in July. My average of 1.4 miles a day will reflect the 1 in 4 pregnancies which are estimated to result in baby loss, raising awareness of the vital support services the charity offers, and raising funds to ensure they can be there for those who need them most.
By taking on this challenge and supporting Miscarriage UK, I'm helping to ensure no one has to face pregnancy loss alone – and by making a donation to my page you are helping to fund their support services, trusted information and campaigning work, while raising awareness of an experience that is still too often misunderstood.
Together, we can make sure no one faces pregnancy loss alone.
