On Saturday, 21st June 2025 I will be cutting off 12 inches of hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust. (Yes, short-haired Megan will be making a return this summer!😅) As part of that donation, I would love to raise £550, as that is how much it costs to make one wig. 💇‍♀️

Around 14 hair donations are required to make a single wig. Although the charity can accept a minimum hair donation of 7”/17cm in length, the greatest demand is for hair that is over 12”/30cm which will naturally make much longer wigs.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
